JAMES WILLIAMS

James Williams was born to Taku River Tlingit Matriarch Elisabeth Nyman and Steven Williams in 1949 in Juneau Alaska.

James is a dedicated father and husband and has been the Wolf Clan leader for TRTFN for several years. His experience as a prominent business owner and mentor in the community has gained him much respect among his people.

James’ time spent at the Canadian residential school in his younger days was traumatic. His experience and healing journey led him to dedicate his life and work to healing and mentoring. He generously shares his time with the TRTFN community as an Elder and leader with those who need support to find healthy ways recover from similar traumatic events.
